Ben Lange is an experienced attorney representing businesses and individuals throughout Northeast Iowa. He helps small businesses from beginning to end, by helping form their business entity, by identifying and mitigating risks in daily operations, by representing and advocating for their interests when disputes arise through civil litigation, and by helping with mergers and acquisitions. He also helps local Iowans with real estate transactions, and estate planning. He helps his clients address the problems of today, while securing opportunities in the future.
Lange grew up in Quasqueton, Iowa, attending East Buchanan High School, Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a member of the law firm of Lange & McMahon, P.L.C. in Independence and Waterloo, Iowa, and is licensed to practice law in Iowa and Minnesota. He previously served as a policy adviser on Capitol Hill and was twice a candidate for United States Congress in Iowa, vice-chairman of the Buchanan Delaware Fayette Empowerment Board and as a board trustee of the City of Independence Public Library. Ben lives near Independence, Iowa with his wife and three daughters.
